EDI Dual manifold, single exit coating die incorporating sliding wedge clamp deckle and Autoflex IV push/pull lock up system. The current trend in coextrusion is to demand improved layer-to-layer distribution and structures utilizing material with very different processing parameters. Multi-manifold dies spread the layers before combining them just prior to the lip exit. This allows the processing of resins with diverse viscosities and/or temperatures. EDI offers Auto Die with automatic die lip adjustment for maintaining minimal gauge variation. |
